CPA Gets 18 Months In Ex-NFL Star's $20M Mortgage Scam

Law360, Dallas (November 28, 2012, 7:10 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge on Wednesday sentenced a certified public accountant to 18 months in prison for his role in a $20 million mortgage fraud scam organized by an ex-Dallas Cowboys linebacker, and ordered him and two other previously sentenced men to pay restitution totaling more than $3.5 million.
