$3.6B LaGuardia Airport Project Extends Deadline For Bids

Law360, New York (December 21, 2012, 3:18 PM EST) -- The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said on Friday it has pushed until Jan. 25 the deadline for interested bidders to submit their statements of qualification to compete for the $3.6 billion replacement of LaGuardia Airport's aging central terminal.

Port Authority spokesman Ron Marsico confirmed that the deadline for the submissions, which had been set for Friday, was indeed extended into 2013. Marsico could not elaborate on the reasoning for the extension.
