Okada Departs Wynn Board A Day Before Shareholder Vote

Law360, New York (February 21, 2013, 7:23 PM EST) -- Former Wynn Macau Ltd. director Kazuo Okada resigned from the company's board Thursday — a day before a shareholder vote on his ouster — but not without ripping Wynn Resorts co-founder Steve Wynn, whom he accused of deceiving him for years.

“Since the year 2000, Steve Wynn has orchestrated a deliberate campaign to deceive me,” Okada said in a statement Thursday. “His actions have betrayed our friendship, the management agreement executed between us, the shareholders agreement executed in 2002, and, ultimately, Universal Entertainment Inc.”
