Travel Cos. Could Owe $55M In Hotel Taxes Class Action

Law360, Houston (March 13, 2013, 5:41 PM EDT) -- The city of San Antonio on Tuesday asked a Texas federal judge to enter a $55 million judgment in a class action against online travel companies Expedia Inc., LP, Hotwire Inc. and others found to have underpaid hotel occupancy taxes to 173 cities.
