NJ Lets Casinos Offer Fantasy Sports Tourneys

Law360, New York (March 18, 2013, 5:46 PM EDT) -- While New Jersey's plans to legalize gambling on professional and amateur sporting events may be up in the air, Atlantic City casinos will soon be able to offer fantasy sports tournaments under new regulations the state announced Monday.

The state Division of Gaming Enforcement has temporarily adopted the regulations, which will go into effect April 22 and enable casinos to offer the tournaments by themselves or with fantasy sports providers.
