IP Co. Blames Loss On Mediator's Link To Fish & Richardson

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 8:05 PM EDT) -- Patent-holding company CEATS Inc. said Wednesday that a Texas federal court judgment invalidating its patents covering technology to sell ticketed seats online should be nixed following revelations the court-appointed mediator failed to disclose his friendship with a partner at the defendants’ law firm Fish & Richardson PC.
