RBS Says Suit Over $605M Bid For Liverpool Team Still Lacking

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 3:33 PM EDT) -- A Royal Bank of Scotland PLC attorney urged a New York state judge to toss a hedge fund's lawsuit accusing the bank of derailing its £385 million ($605 million) bid for topflight English soccer team Liverpool FC, arguing that new allegations didn't overcome contractual prohibitions to the suit.
