NBA Security Official’s Olympic Retaliation Suit Nixed

Law360, New York (April 17, 2013, 8:30 PM EDT) -- A National Basketball Association security director’s claims that she was removed from a top security post at the 2012 Olympics for rebuffing a coach’s sexual advances in 2009 cannot be heard in New York state, according to a ruling released Monday that tossed her suit.

Judge Cynthia S. Kern ruled on April 11 that New York was the wrong venue to hear the allegations of Kelley Hardwick, who said she was removed from her assignment guarding the U.S. women's basketball team at the 2012 Olympic Games...
