Sentences For $6M Naval Base Bribery Scheme Won't Be Cut

Law360, Chicago (April 19, 2013, 8:17 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Thursday denied further sentence reductions for five people who aided the government’s prosecution of their co-conspirators in a scheme in which U.S. Navy officials netted more than $1 million in bribes for handing out more than $6 million in bogus defense contracts.
