PokerStars' Deal For Atlantic City Casino Falls Through

Law360, New York (May 1, 2013, 5:20 PM EDT) -- Online poker company PokerStars is no longer in talks to purchase the troubled Atlantic Club Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J., after a purchase agreement between PokerStars and the casino was terminated, an Atlantic Club executive said Wednesday.

Atlantic Club Chief Operating Officer Michael Frawley did not provide any explanation for the agreement's termination, but the deal may have floundered because the purchase agreement expired, according to the Wall Street Journal.
