Dr. Phil Sues Deadspin Over Manti Te'o Hoax Interview

Law360, New York (May 6, 2013, 8:03 PM EDT) -- Dr. Phil on Monday sued the operators of prominent sports blog Deadspin.com in Texas federal court for copyright infringement, alleging his show's ratings plummeted after his exclusive interview with the man who pretended to be former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o's girlfriend in an elaborate Internet hoax was posted on the site.
