Tech Workers Renew Class Bid In Anti-Poaching Case

Law360, New York (May 13, 2013, 6:47 PM EDT) -- Former software engineers at Apple Inc., Google Inc. and other technology giants moved to pare down their bid for class certification Friday after a recent ruling that they lacked evidence showing an alleged plot to fix employee pay affected all salaried workers.

The plaintiffs — a group of software engineers who formerly worked for leading Silicon Valley companies — asked the court to certify a class of all technical workers at the companies, instead of both technical and salaried workers.
