Clifford Chance Revises Pension Plan

Law360, New York (January 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- London-based law firm Clifford Chance LLP has revamped its pension payout plans for early retirees to be based on service time rather than age to comply with U.K. age discrimination laws.

Partners at the firm, which has 27 worldwide offices including New York and Washington, D.C., branches, voted last week to eliminate age references for policies regarding lawyers who became partners before 2005.
