Texas Appeals Court Reverses Cert. In Title Insurance Suit

Law360, Houston (June 21, 2013, 8:34 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court Wednesday reversed certification of a class action that alleges Stewart Title Guaranty Co. routinely denied mortgage borrowers a title insurance premium discount mandated under Texas law, ruling that a lack of clear documentation would make a class determination too complex.
