EA Can't Sink 'Madden' Royalties Suit In Jury Trial

Law360, San Francisco (June 21, 2013, 7:32 PM EDT) -- Original “Madden NFL” programmer Robin Antonick can pursue breach of contract claims alleging that Electronic Arts Inc. used his ideas in subsequent video games in the multibillion-dollar franchise, a California federal jury held Friday, finding that Antonick didn’t wait too long to sue for millions in royalties.
