Jury Verdict In 'NFL Madden' Trial Seems To Sway Judge

Law360, San Francisco (June 26, 2013, 4:16 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge said Wednesday that he was leaning toward upholding a jury verdict against Electronic Arts Inc. in a royalty dispute over the “Madden NFL” video game franchise, but will mull the publisher’s bid to dismiss the verdict finding that the plaintiff's claims were timely.
