Pfizer, Takeda Units End Antitrust Case Over Protonix Patent

Law360, New York (July 17, 2013, 6:01 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal court on Monday signed off on an agreement dismissing putative class antitrust allegations that Pfizer Inc.'s Wyeth and Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.'s Altana Pharma AG fraudulently obtained a patent related to the acid reflux drug Protonix.
