$115M Macmillan, Penguin Antitrust Deals Win Initial OK

Law360, New York (August 6, 2013, 9:29 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday preliminarily approved a pair of agreements totaling $115 million to a settle e-book price-fixing claims brought against Penguin Group USA Inc. and Macmillan Publishers Ltd. by 33 state governments and a proposed consumer class.
