Gibson Dunn Guides Aurora In $267M Buy Of Engineering Co.

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 1:58 PM EDT) -- Los Angeles private equity firm Aurora Capital Group has struck an approximately $267 million deal to pick up National Technical Systems Inc. and take the aerospace, defense and transportation-focused engineering and testing company private, according to a Friday announcement.

Per the deal, an Aurora unit will be coughing up $23 for each of NTS's 11,620,695 outstanding shares, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Aurora then plans to deregister NTS from NASDAQ, it said.
