Racket Maker Slams Celeb Endorsement False Ad Suit

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 6:39 PM EDT) -- Racket maker Babolat VS North America Inc. asked a California federal judge Monday to toss a putative class action accusing the company of deceiving consumers through endorsements by tennis superstars Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick, claiming the plaintiff’s interpretation of the ad campaign is excessively literal.
