Court Orders Credit Suisse To Turn Over Documents

Law360, New York (February 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a victory for the plaintiffs in the mammoth initial public offering securities class action, Credit Suisse Securities LLC will be forced to turn over documents related to an internal investigation, despite the bank's argument that the papers are protected as attorney work product.

In a decision handed down on Feb. 14, Judge Shira Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted a motion to compel discovery filed by the plaintiffs in the long-running class action suit.
