Fannie, Freddie Dodge Real Estate Transfer Tax Suit

Law360, New York (September 26, 2013, 2:34 PM EDT) -- A Tennessee federal judge on Tuesday dismissed all claims brought by a Tennessee county's register of deeds against Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac over their exemption from real estate transfer taxes, saying the register did not have standing.
