Miami Sued Over Selection Process For Waterfront Developer

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 6:10 PM EDT) -- A Miami resident who served on a selection committee tasked with finding a developer for a piece of waterfront land in Coconut Grove sued the city Monday, claiming it violated Florida's Sunshine Law when it kept the public out of a meeting and showed preference to one bidder in the media.
