Gamblers Make A Bid For Class Cert. In Slot-Gimmick Suit

Law360, New York (September 30, 2013, 6:14 PM EDT) -- Gamblers moved for preliminary class certification on Monday in a suit against Atlantic City, N.J., casino Revel, which resurfaced from bankruptcy in May and is being accused of swindling the class through its misleading promotion to refund slot machine losses.

The complaint was filed earlier this month by Margaret and Nicholas Peragine against the casino’s owners, Revel Entertainment Group LLC and Chatham Asset Management LLC, on behalf of themselves and anyone who lost $100 or more while gambling on Revel’s slot machines in July.
