Hard Rock Partners With Tribe On $808M Casino Plan

Law360, New York (October 11, 2013, 2:09 PM EDT) -- Fresh off a casino proposal loss in Massachusetts, the Hard Rock Cafe International Inc. on Thursday announced it has struck a partnership deal with the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin to be included in the tribe's own controversial $808 million casino and hotel project.

Per the deal, Hard Rock will help develop, brand and manage the Kenosha, Wis., casino and resort complex that is still awaiting final approval from the state's governor. The project will be co-developed with the Florida-based Osceola Group, according to a statement....
