49ers Shooting Suit Sacked Over Team Citizenship

Law360, Los Angeles (October 23, 2013, 10:01 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge dismissed allegations that the San Francisco 49ers football team was negligently responsible for a shooting in its stadium parking lot, saying Wednesday that the court did not have jurisdiction because both the victim and some of the team’s owners are California residents.
