NJ Asks 3rd Circ. To Rehear Sports-Betting Appeal

Law360, New York (November 1, 2013, 8:49 PM EDT) -- The state of New Jersey on Thursday petitioned the Third Circuit to rehear its argument that the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act, which bans sports betting in most states, is unconstitutional, after a coalition of professional leagues toppled a state law legalizing sports betting.
