NY Voters OK Casino Gaming In Referendum

Law360, New York (November 5, 2013, 11:43 PM EST) -- New York voters on Tuesday put their support behind Gov. Andrew Cuomo's controversial plan to bring up to seven full-service casinos to the state, approving a referendum to amend the state constitution to allow for games such as poker and craps.

With 72 percent of precincts reporting, the measure was approved Tuesday 56.6 to 43.4 percent.
