Landlord Asks 9th Circ. To Revive DirecTV Contract Suit

Law360, San Francisco (November 7, 2013, 5:44 PM EST) -- A landlord urged the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to revive a putative class action seeking to bar DirecTV Inc. from using “sham” contracts with tenant subscribers that allows the company to install satellite dishes without landlords' knowledge, arguing a lower court was wrong to find it lacked jurisdiction.
