NY Top Court Asks If Worker's Comp Finding Curbs Damages

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 5:02 PM EST) -- New York's top court on Tuesday asked whether a 2006 finding by state worker's compensation authorities — that a restaurant deliveryman no longer was disabled two years after being injured by falling construction debris — should preclude personal injury claims for damages against construction-site defendants after that date.
