JM Found Liable For Shoddy Pipes In FCA Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (November 14, 2013, 10:34 PM EST) -- A California federal jury on Thursday determined that pipe maker J-M Manufacturing Co. Inc. knowingly made and sold substandard plastic pipe that was later used to build water and sewer systems in several states, making it liable to pay damages in a whistleblower False Claims Act suit.
