Lakers Tell 9th Circ. Text Spam Suit Was Rightly Tossed

Law360, Chicago (November 18, 2013, 10:21 PM EST) -- The Los Angeles Lakers Inc. urged the Ninth Circuit Thursday to uphold the dismissal of a text message-spamming class action against the basketball franchise, saying the suit targets a legitimate text message that the plaintiff had invited.
