Tenn. Agency OKs Land Sale For $150M Ballpark

Law360, New York (November 25, 2013, 6:39 PM EST) -- A proposed $150 million minor league baseball park for the Nashville Sounds rounded a key milestone on Monday when a Tennessee state agency approved a land deal for the project's site.

During a Monday meeting, the State Building Commission's executive subcommittee approved a $23 million deal to turn over the state-owned land for the project to the Metro Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the commission confirmed to Law360.
