Time Warner Hit With Suit Over Nortel Network Patents

Law360, New York (December 12, 2013, 4:55 PM EST) -- Time Warner Cable Inc. was hit with a patent infringement suit in Texas federal court on Wednesday by a unit of Rockstar Consortium LP, the patent licensing group of tech giants including Apple Inc. and Microsoft Inc. that acquired bankrupt Nortel Networks Corp.'s highly coveted patent portfolio for $4.5 billion in 2011.
