State Law Pares $9M Attys' Fees In VW Suit, 3rd Circ. Told

Law360, Philadelphia (December 17, 2013, 5:09 PM EST) -- Attorneys for two plaintiffs in a class action over sunroof drainage problems in certain Volkswagen and Audi vehicles told the Third Circuit on Tuesday that a lower court wrongly relied on federal law in approving $9.2 million in fees for class counsel included in a settlement in the case.
