Greenberg Can't Escape Hard Rock Hotel Developer Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (December 17, 2013, 11:16 PM EST) -- A California federal judge ruled Tuesday that Greenberg Traurig LLP couldn't exit a class action alleging the developer and broker of a Hard Rock hotel and condominium project made misrepresentations to buyers of the building’s units, saying the developer's claims against the law firm weren't time-barred.

U.S. District Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel sided with Tarsadia Hotels and its group of developers in a Tuesday order, ruling their complaint against Greenberg wasn't barred by a one-year statute of limitations under California law.
