Paterno Estate's Suit Over NCAA's $60M Fine Greenlighted

Law360, New York (January 7, 2014, 9:44 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania judge ruled Tuesday that a lawsuit brought by former football coach Joe Paterno's estate alleging the National Collegiate Athletic Association had no authority to impose sanctions — including a $60 million fine — on Pennsylvania State University following the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal can go forward.
