Tyson Facing 7th FLSA Suit So Far This Year

Law360, New York (March 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tyson Foods Inc. was socked with its seventh Fair Labor Standards Act suit so far this year, as three former line workers at a Nebraska meat processing plant filed a prospective class or collective action alleging Tyson owes workers regular and overtime wages.

Plaintiffs Manuel Acosta, Luis Montoya and Martin Hinojosa filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska on Feb. 29, alleging two counts of violating state labor laws and one count of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act....
