Ex-NFL Star, Mother Plead Not Guilty To NJ Mortgage Scheme

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 8:24 PM EST) -- A former NFL wide receiver and his mother, in New Jersey court on Tuesday, pled not guilty to conspiracy and theft charges related to an alleged mortgage scam in which the pair allegedly stole over $690,000 through fraudulent home equity loans.
