Microsoft Touts Facial ID Safeguards At Privacy Code Meeting

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 9:38 PM EST) -- A Microsoft Corp. senior attorney on Tuesday told stakeholders attempting to craft a privacy code of conduct for facial recognition technology that the identification features in its Xbox products contain robust notice and choice mechanisms, encouraging the participants to incorporate them into the new guidelines.
