Class Decertified In $800B 'Light' Cigarettes Case

Law360 (April 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A would-be class of smokers who claim they were deceived about the relative health benefits of light cigarettes will challenge a federal appeals court's decision to take away class certification in an $800 billion suit against defendants including Altria Group Inc. and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co.
