PGA Officials' Union Loses Bid To Revive Malpractice Suit

Law360, Houston (June 6, 2014, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday declined to revive a malpractice suit brought by the Professional Association of Golf Officials against its former law firm over allegedly bad advice it received concerning its collective bargaining agreement with the PGA.

Without comment, the high court denied PAGO’s petition for review, in which the union argued its suit against Philadelphia-based attorney Patrick Campbell of Phillips Campbell & Phillips LLP should not have been dismissed on jurisdictional grounds.
