Baycol Whistleblower Suit Unsealed In N.J. Court

Law360, New York (April 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A U.S. federal judge has unsealed a whistleblower lawsuit that accuses Bayer AG of deceptive marketing in the promotion of blockbuster cholesterol drug Baycol.

Judge Peter Sheridan unsealed the amended complaint on April 24, more than three months after it was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on behalf of the federal government, 12 states and the whistleblower, a former Bayer manager.
