Attys Slam DQ Bid In TCPA Suit Over Shopping App

Law360, New York (September 15, 2014, 3:13 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday was urged to deny shopping app Shopkick Inc.’s bid to disqualify plaintiffs’ counsel in a putative class action accusing it of improperly sending users’ contacts promotional texts about the app, with the counsel arguing it didn’t violate any rule by soliciting class representatives.
