Katz Wins Another License Agreement In Patent Battle

Law360 (June 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Premiere Global Services and patent-holding company Ronald A. Katz Technology Licensing LP have settled litigation over interactive voice applications by entering into a licensing agreement for an undisclosed amount.

The deal was announced Wednesday, but the case was dismissed Friday by Judge R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

As part of the settlement, Premiere Global Services agreed to pay an undisclosed sum for a nonexclusive license for a comprehensive portfolio of Katz patents related to interactive voice applications,...
