Wis. Tribe Strikes $1B Revenue Deal For Hard Rock Casino

Law360, New York (January 21, 2015, 1:34 PM EST) -- As an approval deadline looms for a proposed Wisconsin Hard Rock casino, the tribe behind the project announced Tuesday that it struck a deal to amend its gaming compact and provide more than $1 billion in a revenue-sharing agreement with the state.

Per the proposed gaming compact amendment, which has been sent to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for review and approval, the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin would be providing the funds over the 25-year life of the compact, the tribe said.
