Judge Slams Firm For 'Sham' Client In Monster Suit

Law360, New York (July 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has roasted plaintiffs' firm Labaton Sucharow LLP for using a pension fund as a “willing pawn” in a securities class action against Monster Worldwide Inc. that alleges the employment Web site parent company illegally backdated employees' stock option grants for a decade.
