Heated Carnival Co. Wage Row Sent To Mediation

Law360, New York (April 2, 2015, 4:41 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Wednesday ordered mediation for a class action brought by workers accusing a major New England carnival company of underpaying them and forcing them to pick up H-2B visa expenses.

U.S. District Judge Patti B. Saris said in a one-page order that she found the matter appropriate for alternative dispute resolution after consulting with the parties’ counsel and considering the various alternative dispute resolution programs available.
