Value Of Disputed BofA Natural Gas Trimmed

Law360, New York (August 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Monday reduced slightly a $347 million judgment awarded to Bank of America in connection with the bank's effort to recover security interest in 55 billion cubic feet of natural gas in South Texas controlled by American Electric Power.

In trimming the total award by $1.65 million — or less than half of one percent — Judge Thomas P. Griesa mostly rejected AEP's contention that the Dec. 18, 2007 judgment should have been cut by $18.7 million.
