USA Video Bounces Back With New VOD Suit

Law360 (June 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fresh off a loss at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, USA Video Technology Corp. has rebounded with a new lawsuit against the top U.S. cable providers over the alleged infringement of its video-on-demand technology (VOD) patent.

On Thursday, USA Video revealed that it had sued Time Warner Inc., Cox Communications Inc., Charter Communications Inc. and Comcast Corp., accusing the group of violating its intellectual property by offering subscribers video-on-demand services.
